Tim Wilkins Joins Hundreds of Patriots at Hamlin's Inaugural All-American Flag Parade

As America celebrates 250 years of independence, communities across the nation are finding meaningful ways to honor our history, our flag, and the values that unite us.

Tim Wilkins was honored to participate in the inaugural Hamlin All-American Flag Parade in Horizon West, joining hundreds of families, veterans, first responders, students, and community leaders for a day dedicated to celebrating the American spirit. The event featured a one-mile American flag walk, patriotic ceremonies, live music, family activities, and the dedication of a permanent flagpole that will stand as a symbol of freedom for generations to come.

It was an inspiring reminder that patriotism begins in our neighborhoods—when families gather, veterans are honored, children learn the meaning of our nation's history, and communities come together under one flag.

A special thank you to the organizers, volunteers, the Horizon West American Legion, Boyd Development, and the many community partners who worked tirelessly to launch what is sure to become a cherished annual tradition. The event also raised support for local veterans and patriotic programs, making the celebration even more meaningful.

As a Marine Corps veteran and candidate for Congress, Tim believes that preserving America's founding principles starts with communities like Horizon West—where freedom is celebrated, service is honored, and the next generation is taught to love this extraordinary country.

The excitement surrounding America's 250th anniversary isn't just about looking back at our history—it's about renewing our commitment to the ideals of liberty, opportunity, personal responsibility, and the Constitution that have guided our nation for two and a half centuries.
